# Commands

The diagnostic command family.

Mango Radio has no admin commands — it is a client-side interface. What it has instead is a set of **diagnostics**, for placing transmitters, filling in song titles and understanding a problem rather than guessing at it.

| Command           | Needs `Config.Debug` | Does                                               |
| ----------------- | -------------------- | -------------------------------------------------- |
| `/mradio_list` | no | Lists which stations this game build actually has |
| `/mradio_media` | no | Media Player state: server position vs. your audio |
| `/mradio_signal` | yes | Your coordinates, zone and current signal level |
| `/mradio_trackid` | yes                  | The playing track's id and whether it resolves     |

Enable the debug-only ones with:

```lua
Config.Debug = true
```

## /mradio\_list

The answer to any station behaving strangely. It asks the game which stations your build has and names every configured station that is missing:

```
[mango_radio] this game build has 25 radio stations
[mango_radio]   MISSING: WCTR (RADIO_05_TALK_01) — remove it from Config.Stations
[mango_radio] currently: config=RADIO_02_POP game=RADIO_02_POP
```

Anything reported as MISSING should be deleted from `Config.Stations`. The resource hides them automatically at startup, but removing them keeps your config honest.

## /mradio\_media

Prints what the **server** thinks the station is doing next to what your audio is **actually** doing:

```
[mango_radio] station=MEDIAPLAYER mediaActive=true currentIdx=2
[mango_radio] server track: Drake — Headlines (headlines.mp3)
[mango_radio] audio: file=headlines.mp3 at=24.1s want=24.2s len=236.3s vol=0.65 paused=false ready=4
[mango_radio] buffered=0-236s seekable=0-236s seekBroken=false
[mango_radio] server says: headlines.mp3 at 24s of 236.3s
```

If `at` and `want` match, you are locked to the server timeline — and because every client syncs to that same timeline, matching the server means matching everyone else. That makes it a reliable way to verify sync **without needing a second player**.

## /mradio\_signal

For placing transmitters. Prints your position, the GTA zone name and the tuned station's signal level:

```
[mango_radio] pos=1962.4, 3740.1  zone=SANDY
[mango_radio] station=RADIO_11_TALK_02 coverage=yes signal=1.00 muted=false
```

Drive to where you want coverage to end and read off the numbers.

## /mradio\_trackid

For filling gaps in the song title database. Prints the raw id and whether `tracks.js` resolves it — see [Now Playing](/mango5m-docs/resources/mango-radio/features/now-playing.md).
