# Favourites

Hearted stations, saved per player, surviving reconnects and restarts.

Every station row carries a heart. Press `F` on the highlighted station (or click the heart in cursor mode) and it fills in with a small pop animation.

## They persist properly

Favourites are stored **server-side, per player**, keyed to the player's license identifier. They survive disconnects, reconnects and server restarts.

There is **no database to set up**. Storage uses FiveM's own persistent key-value store, which is why Mango Radio stays standalone.

## How it is validated

The client never dictates the stored list. When a heart is toggled the server rebuilds that player's list from what it already had, applies the single change, validates the station name, caps the total, and writes it back. A malformed or oversized request is discarded.

## The Favourites page

`TAB` (or the heart icon in the toolbar) switches the list to favourites only. The previous / next transport buttons then step through favourites only, so you can cycle your own shortlist without passing everything else.

## The empty state

Before you have hearted anything, the Favourites page is not a blank list — it shows a centred heart outline with:

> **No favourite stations yet** Heart a station to find it here.

## Turning it off

```lua
Config.RadioMenu.favourites = false
```

That removes the heart buttons and the Favourites page entirely, and the toolbar collapses accordingly.
