## Performance

* **Idle client (not imprisoned, not on duty): 0.00 ms** — no threads, no zones, no targets registered
* **As an inmate:** grid-based zone checks only (\~0.01 ms); everything else is event-driven
* **Server:** one 60-second timer for the entire resource — sentence accounting, releases, solitary expiry, timetable. All persistence is debounced prepared statements.
