Every one is checked **on the server** when an action arrives; the panel hides what you cannot use, so it never offers something it would then refuse. | Group | Covers | | ------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------- | | **Players** | The roster, profiles, and everything you do to a person | | **Yourself** | Noclip, godmode, invisibility, ESP | | **Vehicles in the world** | Spawning, deleting, repairing, tuning | | **Characters** | Your framework's characters, and editing them | | **Moderation** | Kicks, bans, jail, warnings and the audit log | | **World** | Weather, time and the live map | | **Server** | Performance, resources, telemetry and settings | | **Roles** | Who may change what everybody else can do | {% hint style="info" %} **Two of these grant every other one, in effect:** editing a role's permissions and putting somebody into a role. They are owner-only out of the box. {% endhint %} ## The four default roles | Role | Nodes | Longest ban | | ------------------- | ----- | ----------- | | **Owner** | all | Unlimited | | **Admin** | 64 | 30 days | | **Moderator** | 39 | 7 days | | **Trial Moderator** | 16 | None | ## Players | Node | Allows | | --------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | `players.view` | The list of who is online, and their ping and role | | `players.profile` | A player's page: characters, vehicles, history, notes | | `players.identifiers` | Licence, Steam, Discord and FiveM ids | | `players.mugshot` | The head-and-shoulders picture, and retaking it | | `players.warn` | The warning count another resource has recorded | | `players.goto` | Put yourself where they are | | `players.bring` | Pull them to where you are | | `players.heal` | Restore health and armour | | `players.revive` | Bring them back on their feet | | `players.kill` | Kill outright | | `players.freeze` | Freeze and unfreeze them in place | | `players.spectate` | Watch a player invisibly | | `players.kick` | Disconnect a player with a reason | | `players.ban` | Ban a player, length capped by the Limits tab | | `players.items` | Remove items and change amounts | | `players.vehicles` | Add a vehicle to their garage, or take one away | | `players.jail` | Send to jail, release, and take time off a sentence | | `players.money` | Cash, bank and dirty money | | `players.mute` | Nobody on the server hears them. Does not cover radio or phone calls | | `players.notes` | Private notes on an account. The player never sees them | | `players.message` | A line of text on their screen. No reply, no thread | | `players.mass` | Heal, freeze or bring every player on the server. Needs the matching permission as well | | `players.call` | Stop them where they are and summon them to the support channel | ## Yourself | Node | Allows | | ---------------- | ---------------------------------------------- | | `self.noclip` | Fly through the world, on foot or in a vehicle | | `self.godmode` | Take no damage | | `self.invisible` | Nobody can see you | | `self.names` | Player names above heads | | `self.esp` | Player outlines at a distance | | `self.health` | Top yourself up without healing anybody else | | `self.armour` | The same for armour | | `self.kill` | Useful for testing a death | | `self.waypoint` | Go to the marker on your map | ## Vehicles in the world | Node | Allows | | ----------------- | ----------------------------------------- | | `vehicles.view` | The vehicle list and a vehicle page | | `vehicles.spawn` | Spawn a vehicle by code | | `vehicles.delete` | Delete the vehicle in front of you | | `vehicles.tune` | Repair, wash, dirt, max tuning and colour | | `vehicles.plate` | Rewrite a vehicle plate | | `vehicles.track` | Follow a vehicle live | ## Characters | Node | Allows | | ------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | `characters.view` | Every character on record, not just who is online | | `characters.delete` | PERMANENT. Removes the character from your database. Nobody holds this by default | | `characters.money` | Cash and bank columns on the character list | ## Moderation | Node | Allows | | ------------------ | ------------------------------------------------- | | `bans.view` | The ban list and ban ids | | `bans.add` | Ban an identifier nobody is connected to | | `bans.remove` | Unban | | `reports.view` | Read the report queue and its threads | | `reports.reply` | Talk in a report | | `reports.internal` | Messages in a report that the player cannot see | | `reports.close` | Close a report | | `reports.reopen` | Open a closed report again | | `reports.invite` | Pull another player or staff member into a report | | `reports.attach` | Attach players and vehicles a report is about | | `reports.delete` | Take back a message in a thread | ## World | Node | Allows | | --------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | `world.view` | Weather and time as they are now | | `world.clear` | Delete loose vehicles, peds and props around you. Never a player or an occupied car | | `world.weather` | Set and freeze the weather | | `world.time` | Set and freeze the time of day | ## Server | Node | Allows | | ------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------- | | `dashboard.view` | The front page and its widgets | | `map.view` | Everyone on the map, live | | `performance.view` | Frame time, ping, database and the health score | | `economy.view` | Circulation, wealth, what each job pays, sources and sinks | | `audit.view` | Every staff action, who did it and to whom | | `staff.view` | Everyone who holds a role, online or not | | `staff.lookup` | Check an identifier before handing it a role | | `settings.view` | The panel’s own settings page | | `resources.view` | The resource list and its states | | `resources.start` | Start resources | | `resources.stop` | Stop resources | | `resources.restart` | Restart resources | | `resources.console` | The live output of a running resource | ## Roles | Node | Allows | | ------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------- | | `roles.view` | The role list and who holds what | | `roles.create` | Create roles | | `roles.edit` | Name, colour, icon and order | | `roles.delete` | Delete roles | | `roles.members` | Who holds a role, by identifier or Discord role | | `roles.permissions` | What a role may do. Grant with care: this is the page that grants pages | | `roles.limits` | Ceilings like the longest ban a role may issue | ## The ones to think hardest about | Node | Why | | ------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------- | | `roles.permissions` | Decides what a role may do, including the one they hold | | `roles.members` | Puts anybody into any role, including Owner | | `roles.create` / `roles.delete` | The same power by another route | | `characters.delete` | Deletes a character out of your database, permanently | All of those sit with the Owner by default.
