# Vehicles

Every vehicle on the server and in the database.

Two lists: the ones **spawned in the world** right now, and every one **in your database**. Search by plate, model or owner.

Click a plate and it is copied to your clipboard — a plate is the one thing on these pages that gets typed into something else, and staff were reading them off the screen and retyping them, which is how `KTM449` becomes `KMT449`.

## A vehicle's page

Owner, model, plate, where it is, and whether it is out right now. From here you can follow it live on the map, or open its owner's profile.

## What you can do

|                         |                                                   |
| ----------------------- | ------------------------------------------------- |
| **Spawn** | By model name, in front of you |
| **Delete** | The one you are looking at |
| **Repair, wash, dirty** | Condition, without leaving the panel |
| **Tune** | Max out performance parts |
| **Colour**              | Primary and secondary                             |
| **Plate**               | Rewrite it                                        |
| **Give / take** | Add a vehicle to somebody's garage, or remove one |

Each of those is its own permission, so a moderator can delete a vehicle blocking a doorway without being able to spawn one.

## Pictures

Stock GTA vehicles are shown with their own artwork, fetched by model name from the FiveM documentation’s vehicle images. A model with no picture falls back to an icon rather than a broken image.

{% code title="shared/config/players.lua" %}

```lua
Config.Vehicles.images = {
    enabled = true,
    base    = 'https://docs-backend.fivem.net/vehicles/',
    ext     = '.webp',
}
```

{% endcode %}

Point `base` at your own host to cover add-on vehicles, or set `enabled = false` to use icons throughout.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Needs `oxmysql` and a supported framework** to read owned vehicles. Without them the page says so plainly rather than showing an empty list that looks like an answer.
{% endhint %}
