# Screenshots and Clips

Mugshots, honeypot evidence and report clips.

All three need `screenshot-basic` started server side.

## Mugshots

{% code title="shared/config/players.lua" %}

```lua
Config.Mugshots = {
    enabled   = true,
    resource  = 'screenshot-basic',
    onJoin    = true,
    joinDelay = 10,        -- seconds after spawn, so clothing has applied
}
```

{% endcode %}

One capture shortly after a player spawns. **That is the only automatic one** — nothing polls, and opening the panel takes none. Retake on demand from a profile, or from another resource:

```lua
exports.mango_admin:TakeMugshot(source)
exports.mango_admin:GetMugshot(source)      -- the stored data URI, or nil
```

## Report clips

The player's own client keeps a rolling buffer, so the clip covers the seconds **before** they pressed report. It is recorded in their NUI and can be megabytes, so it never rides a net event: the page posts it straight to the server's own HTTP endpoint, paced against your `netEventSize` limit, and a one-time token issued when the report was created is the only thing that lets a post in.

## Uploading

Without an upload key, pictures are kept on the server and shown in the panel. With a Fivemanage key they are uploaded and the panel stores a link instead:

{% code title="shared/config/reports.lua" %}

```lua
Config.Reports.video.fivemanage = { apiKey = 'YOUR_FIVEMANAGE_API_KEY' }
```

{% endcode %}

{% hint style="info" %}
**A honeypot screenshot is the game view, not the desktop.** `screenshot-basic` captures the client's game render target — that is what the plugin does, and no resource can reach outside it. A cheat menu drawn by the game is captured; a browser window in front of FiveM is not. Evidence is taken as a **burst** of three frames about two seconds apart, at higher resolution than a mugshot, so a menu that is only up for a moment is still caught by one of them.
{% endhint %}
